Angeles National Forest, CA

Piece description from the artist

I loved going to the Angeles National Forest to escape the urban world of Los Angeles, and I was thankful it was a short drive away. I had a great view and after the sunset I couldn't not photograph the scene. A few years later I used this image as part of this body of work where I added colorful shapes to the picture in Photoshop and printed the image so that certain areas would keep the ink wet longer and I could "paint" in it, on top of the photo. This is the result of one of those "wet ink prints" and, like most of them, came out pretty different than I was expecting. I like how two pretty different experiences seem to coexist in this one.

He now resides in Los Angeles and continues exploring new techniques in photography and drawing and taking part in various exhibitions.
