Many large hot air balloons in the air at sunrise over the mountains of the Valley of the Kings near Luxor in Egypt. This adventure flight with huge balloons carrying up to 28 people takes place every morning at sunrise to capture a beautiful view of the city of Luxor and the Nile River with the tombs and ongoing excavations of the ancient Egyptian temples and tombs.
Steve Heap has been a photographer for over 50 years now (which is frightening to think about!) but in that time he has developed an eye for what would make a striking piece of wall art. Photography is all about the light and his finest attribute is patience! Waiting for the conditions to be just right is the key to making a piece of art that you can be proud of. Of course, luck plays a part, but without that patience of being in the right place at the right time, it just becomes a snapshot. He focuses on capturing images from around the world – timeless shots that reward the viewer with insights as they spend more time with them!
