A Pen and Ink drawing of 500 Boylston Street, Boston Massachusetts. Although this is a fairly new building, compared to the historic structures around it, I have always been intrigued by the design of its facade. It is so intricate and classy, with the perfect mix of curves and arches and decorative lighting. Having walked by it hundreds of times, I finally decided to sketch it out, and I love the result. A very dramatic view, bottom to top. The building actually has some notoriety, as it was used in the television series Boston Legal. It was filmed, using 500 Boylston Street as its Fleet Street law offices. Not quite Ally McBeal, but close. Enjoy the Art!
