My favorite things to shoot always appear at night. This perfectly placed VIP auto body shop presented more depth to me than most things do in the plainest of daylight. The composition offers a unique opportunity to examine an every day, typically unnoticed object from a rare and mysterious point of view. Highlighting certain tones and pieces of light, while emphasizing the deep shadows introduces a storyline to be filled in by its viewer.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph.
