Piece description from the artist
A Commerical fishing boat named Capt. Chris washed ashore south of Jacksonville Florida. The craft has been abandoned on the beach for months and was about to be removed by St. Johns County when Hurrican Ian came through and saved the taxpayers the trouble and money. Ian broke the boat in to hundreds of pieces and carried most of the remains out to sea. One of my many trips to capture the boat produced a stunning sunrise as a backdrop.
