When I started photographing the various doors in Brooklyn I was searching for dynamism. An aspect of otherworldliness, that feeling of wanderlust that told me if I opened the door I would be transformed. This door in particular transformed me in one glance. The arch caught my attention, coupled by a very elaborate outfit of architecture embellished by the artistic tendencies of many passersby.
