My angel painting is a 40 by 30-inch, gallery-wrapped Acrylic on Canvas and a personal vision from my imagination. It depicts what I feel an angel to be, mystical and vaguely present with a beautiful aura and golden, sparkling wings. To create the sparkles, I used gold and pearl Acrylic mica flakes. It was a fun change from my usual subject matter and focus.
The natural world and her love for animals inspire Dara Daniel's Acrylic on canvas, mixed-media paintings. She combines bold colors and shapes and lots of textures to create fun, playful interpretations of horses and other animal spirits.
For all her paintings, she combines all the available elements of design to express rhythms and energy and moods and emotion. Dara explains, "Each painting experience is unique yet, my goal for all my paintings is to capture a degree of nature's passionate spirit, joy, and beauty."
