Encaustic Goldfinch

Piece description from the artist

A fat, happy little goldfinch perched on a tree branch, celebrating our planet in his own unique way. This original was created with encaustic wax. The dark tree branches are carved out from the top wax layers, to reveal the darker wax beneath. The texture and shine of the piece makes the eyes dance. Part painting, part sculptural, this unique work highlights the importance of protecting the earth and all her creatures who are worth of nurture.

This is a TurningArt exclusive limited edition print available in editions of 100.
