As a lover of color and the ways they relate to one another, this particular piece of graffiti caught my eye immediately. The use of shape, line, and color drew me in as I snapped the photograph, singing the classic Marvin Gaye song in my head as the shutter went off.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph. Her favorite saying regarding her work is "human emotion is a lost art", which is something she aims to capture in every shot.
