The shear scale of the dolomites dwarfs every village, road, and man made structure we place around them. These mountains will remain. I live in Colorado and see the Rocky Mountains every day from my house, but there's something different about the Dolomites. They strike awe into the viewer in a unique way I have not experienced before.
Mark Lauman began practicing photography in early 2008 and quickly developed a passion for the art of the still image. His love for this artistic outlet stems from the clarity it provides the viewer; Mark is able to morph an initially abstract concept into an image with distinct aspects. He believes that any viewer should be able to understand his work, and that all viewers should feel an invitation to consider the intentions behind each piece.
Mark currently lives and works in Golden, Colorado.
