The painting depicts the sea, a rocky coast and a sailboat on the water. The action takes place against the backdrop of sunset. The orange sky is reflected on the water surface. This seascape is dedicated to the rocky shores of the Catalan region of Alt Emporda. These places are often sailed. The artist used a bright bold technique of creation the artwork. This applies to both brush strokes and color combinations. Thus, the artist wanted to convey the mood and the energy of the landscape. Varnished and signed.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
