The owl is a symbol of silence, prudence, wisdom and vigilance. In the Middle Ages, the owl became the emblem of some scientific educational institutions and societies; the image began to appear on the coats of arms and seals of universities, and later museums and libraries. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished. Original.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
