At the Terminal

Piece description from the artist

I took this image of some travelers at BWI Airport on our way to France in 2022. Like many of my images, it was taken using 35mm b&w film that I processed by hand. This photo in particular was taken with a very unique German Leica camera built in 1930. Viewers can see a little cutaway in the natural film border on the top center of the image that is an identifying "fingerprint" of this specific camera. I am always inspired by all the glass and steel at BWI Airport and liked how the figures here interacted with the architectural math of the terminal.
