Rising

Piece description from the artist

Rising gracefully into the sky, a section of the London Eye captures the city's pulse in a beautiful arc. As its pods ascend, they offer a moment of reflection amidst the clouds, where the bustle below fades and the timeless panorama of London unfolds in a serene, captivating sweep. Standing on the South Bank and looking up at the Eye and catching the pods in the warm sunlight makes me wonder about the lives of the people in them. That’s a big reason why I captured this photo. It’s such an iconic landmark that I often wonder what they’re thinking as they rise above the ground and take in the outstanding views. To me, this photo represents a physical rise but also a mental and emotional rise as well.
