San Diego Reflection

Piece description from the artist

Whenever I go to a new city, I always make a point of checking out images taken around the area and try to work out the best place for a cityscape of the skyline. In this case, it involved a drive to the opposite side of the water, and I was rewarded by some beautiful clouds that will nicely lit as the sun set behind me. However, the water was disappointing – grey and a bit choppy and so I did what anyone would have done – painted it out and replaced by a much nicer piece of ocean! I hope you enjoy the view!

About Steven Heap

Morgantown, WV

Steve Heap has been a photographer for over 50 years now (which is frightening to think about!) but in that time he has developed an eye for what would make a striking piece of wall art. Photography is all about the light and his finest attribute is patience! Waiting for the conditions to be just right is the key to making a piece of art that you can be proud of. Of course, luck plays a part, but without that patience of being in the right place at the right time, it just becomes a snapshot. He focuses on capturing images from around the world – timeless shots that reward the viewer with insights as they spend more time with them!
