A cute little sanderling runs as fast as he or she can along the coastline of Destin, Florida, United States. I love to watch these fast running small birds as they grab something to eat from the sand and then quickly run away from the waves like they are afraid to get their feet wet. They are so cute and entertaining to watch. The sanderlings are part of the sandpiper family. they are wading birds. This is along the Gulf of Mexico and part of the Emerald Coast with some of the whitest beaches in the world.
