One of the oldest towns in North Carolina and a now famous harbor for yachts, sailboats and visitors from all over, especially those travelling the Intracoastal Waterway, part of Beaufort's history is captured in this piece. A depiction of the "Shad Factory" where the Menhaden Shad fishermen processed their catch is illuminated with fabulous light and color which only Brad Styron can achieve. The colors enhance any environment and you can "smell the salt air" just by looking at it.
Brad is an accomplished photographer, avid surfer and paddler. Originally from North Carolina and has made Hawaii Home back in 2019 after visiting for a month.
He recently entered Hawaii Magazine's 24th annual photo competition and won the grand prize and runner up in the wild life category.
