Piece description from the artist
Sun Chaser 2 follows my penchant for self portraits when the crux of success depends on my ability to assemble the scene, myself, and the light in a valuable way. This image clearly illustrates the temporal truth of beauty: not minutes later, the sun had completely disappeared beyond the horizon. What an engaging experience: pushing myself athletically, creatively, and being led by the immutable truths of light and nature. There are subtle suggestions by nature and creativity of ways we may thrive as a human beings. Perhaps a bit heady and Pollyannaish, but worth the good fight.
