Piece description from the artist
This is another of the Bangor series. I had to climb up on top of a building across the street to get this vantage point. The downtown of Bangor sits in a bowl, so when the sun goes down, the light leaves ever so quickly and creates the incredible contrasts of warm and cool. Those sweeping hill tops allow the distance to remain in light while the foreground is not.
