Piece description from the artist
The art of silhouette is found naturally, with ample darkness and the right touch of light. It can be found anywhere the eye travels, but only those with an eye for the unseen will find it. In East New York there is a small area that from the street appears to be a construction site. But if you get a bit closer, you'll discover that underneath the street lies the expanse of 3 abandoned subway tunnels. The mystery, the glory, and the danger spark an intrigue that will have you going deeper into the underground of New York than you ever thought possible. The location in this photo is one that I will always hold close to my heart. It is deeply connected to the reasons that I fell in love with the city and it's beautiful abandons.
