Composite of nine HD images of the solar eclipse in April 2024 from start through total eclipse to the beginning of the uncovering of the sun with the Baily's Beads looking like a diamond ring. We travelled into Ohio to be in the zone of totality and shared the experience with thousands of others in a state park near Columbus. What a treat!
Steve Heap has been a photographer for over 50 years now (which is frightening to think about!) but in that time he has developed an eye for what would make a striking piece of wall art. Photography is all about the light and his finest attribute is patience! Waiting for the conditions to be just right is the key to making a piece of art that you can be proud of. Of course, luck plays a part, but without that patience of being in the right place at the right time, it just becomes a snapshot. He focuses on capturing images from around the world – timeless shots that reward the viewer with insights as they spend more time with them!
