Doyle's Cafe, Boston

Piece description from the artist

A pen and ink drawing of historic Doyle's Cafe located in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Hands-down, the best bar in all of Boston. Whether it was local politicians popping in for a beverage and a handshake, or simply the "JP" locals themselves, Doyle's was always one of the most welcoming watering holes around, as well as, one of the first and few to welcome people of all races, creeds, colors and backgrounds to drink together. Sadly, the 1882 bar is now closed, but rumor has it a group of investors is looking to resurrect it again. After I finished the drawing, I presented a framed version of it to Doyle's owner, who proudly had it hanging behind the bar for many years. Enjoy the art!
