Waterlily Ponds is a series I created using Watercolor and Inks, contemporary abstract, bright and colorful is what resulted by using a loose fluid technique of painting, allowing the paint to go where it wanted and resulting in an almost tapestry effect.
Karen is an artist for over 35 years. Prior to painting full-time – the artist worked in many creative fields in the design world. Living on the beach in CT, her work is influenced by the changing atmosphere and nature. She studied impressionism for 8 years. Her work is collected internationally and has been represented by many galleries throughout her career.
