Piece description from the artist
Listed here is a drawing I completed this past year of the Green Line trolley rolling out of Boston's Kenmore Square towards Allston, Brighton and eventually Newton and Boston College. The drawing includes several classic icons of Boston, the trolley itself, the Citgo sign and the Prudential building. I spent many an evening riding home on this line, so it holds a personal connection for me. It is my first time ever drawing a train or trolley car. It may be the first of a series.
Conor Plunkett has lived in the greater Boston area for almost 50 years. His appreciation of the cityscapes, parks, sky lines, and local architecture has led him to focus his creative efforts on capturing them in pen and ink drawings. Conor's 'Boston Scenes' gallery continues to expand every month as he peruses Boston and Cambridge seeking new and interesting subjects to draw.
