Rowes Wharf Arch, Boston

Piece description from the artist

A pen and ink drawing of Rowes Wharf and the Boston Harbor Hotel along the waterfront in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. Although this is relatively new construction, compared to many of the city's historic buildings, it has become something of an icon along Atlantic Avenue. In the winter, an ice skating rink is often constructed within the rotunda, and on the Fourth of July a massive America flag hangs from the rafters. What is very unique about this hotel is the ability for boats and yachts to pull right up to the dock around the backside. A rarity for any major city hotel. My family has forged many memories here, as we've taken part in "High Tea" within the hotel on several occasions. Enjoy the art!
