"Romantic Encounter" is about the color red, the color of passion, love, and desire. I enjoy the emotional impact of this color without any other reference.
While creating this abstract painting, I focused on the interactions of a variety of bold shapes of different sizes, contrasting color combinations, and soft and hard edges. Also, during my process, I turned this painting occasionally to change, take away, or add something. By doing this, I found and solved problems and also ensured that it works in any direction.
The natural world and her love for animals inspire Dara Daniel's Acrylic on canvas, mixed-media paintings. She combines bold colors and shapes and lots of textures to create fun, playful interpretations of horses and other animal spirits.
For all her paintings, she combines all the available elements of design to express rhythms and energy and moods and emotion. Dara explains, "Each painting experience is unique yet, my goal for all my paintings is to capture a degree of nature's passionate spirit, joy, and beauty."
