Piece description from the artist
This drawing details the far left side of Trinity Church in Copley Square, Boston, Massachusetts. I chose to draw the lesser recognized left side of the church, rather than the well-known front, because I thought it looked cool with the Old Hancock building and the modern 500 Boylston Street building positioned directly behind it. Thus, capturing three generations of buildings in the same composition.
Conor Plunkett has lived in the greater Boston area for almost 50 years. His appreciation of the cityscapes, parks, sky lines, and local architecture has led him to focus his creative efforts on capturing them in pen and ink drawings. Conor's 'Boston Scenes' gallery continues to expand every month as he peruses Boston and Cambridge seeking new and interesting subjects to draw.
